What we collect
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical data when a page is requested, such as the IP address, the browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it to keep the site working and secure.
- Visit statistics. Google Analytics 4 records which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world visitors are, the type of device and browser, and how visitors arrived. It sets cookies on your device to tell visits apart. Google acts as our service provider for this. We use the results to improve pages, and we do not use them to identify you.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can answer you and keep a record of corrections.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect names, addresses, bills or account numbers through the site.
- The calculators run in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us and are not stored.
- We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal information.
- For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is off by default. The site sets no analytics cookies for those visitors, and Google receives only limited, cookie-free signals.
If this changes
We may add advertising or affiliate links in the future. If we do, we will update this policy and the cookie policy before it goes live, say what is collected and why, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@kilowattatlas.com. Residents of some states have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we honor them where they apply. The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We will post changes here and update the review date.
